This privacy policy applies to the mobile games published on the App Store and on Google Play by Fabio Canovi, individual developer, Italy. It currently covers:
- Riviera Games (previously published as Romagna Games)
The policy is written in plain language because it says something simple: these games do not collect, transmit or share any personal data.
What we do not do
- We collect no personal data of any kind.
- We use no analytics and no tracking, neither our own nor third-party.
- We show no advertising.
- We require no account and no registration.
- There are no in-app purchases.
- There are no links out to external websites or social networks.
- The app talks to no server. It works with no internet connection at all.
- We do not access the camera, the microphone, the photo library, the contacts, the location or any other device sensor or permission.
What is saved, and where
The game saves on your own device: high scores, the album of past games, the game settings, and any characters created by the player, including the names the player chooses for them.
This information is stored in the app’s local storage on the device. It is transmitted to no one. It is accessible neither to us nor to any third party. It is not backed up to any server of ours. It is removed completely when the app is uninstalled.
Text typed by the player
The character creator lets the player type a name. That text never leaves the device: it is not transmitted, not published, and not visible to any other player.
Children
These games are made for children and are published in the App Store Kids Category. Because they collect no data whatsoever, they comply with the GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679) and with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) with respect to minors. No parental consent mechanism is required, because there is nothing to consent to: no data leaves the device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete or port. Data saved by the game on your device is under your control and is deleted by uninstalling the app.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of a game changes what it saves or sends, this page will be updated and the “last updated” date above will change. Any material change will be described here before it takes effect in a published version.
